The TU/e Contest 2017 opened her registration on the 10th of January and gave all the students of the Eindhoven University of Technology a chance to register for the contest. The TU/e Contest team visited the campus multiple times, went to pitching events to spot enthusiastic and motivated students who would like to benefit from our platform, network, and training events. In total, almost 200 projects registered for the TU/e Contest 2017 (over 400 students), of which we carefully selected the best 84 to be shown on the platform. Of course, we would like to thank each and everyone who registered for this edition of the TU/e Contest.

Extra category
During the registration, it became clear that we were missing out on great projects due to the group size restrictions. That’s why we added a new category this year called Student Teams. Great projects were uploaded in this category and we would like to thank every team for showing their interest by participating. 

Selection top 50
After the registration closed, it was time for the first training day to take place: the workshop sessions. These were a big success. (For more information and photos of this event please check out our other news articles on our website.) During the workshops, our partners got a chance to meet the geniuses behind the projects face to face and helped them on several topics in order to improve their business proposition. Based on the quality of the online profiles, shown motivation in the networking round along with overall completeness, we carefully selected the top 50.

All the teams in the top 50 get the chance to brainstorm with our partners during the next training day: speed dates. This training day will take place on the 29th of March in the Kennispoort in Eindhoven. Every project will receive an invitation.
